Audra Gullquist is currently a senior at Eastern Illinois University studying journalism and will be completing her degree in May 2025. She previously served as the Layout and Design Editor for Lake Land College's student publication, the Navigator News, where she served for one academic year before becoming the Editor-in-Chief at the Navigator News for an additional academic year. Her work at the Navigator News earned her the 2022 Award for Excellence in Illinois Community College Newspapers: First Place News Story. After graduating from Lake Land College and transferring to Eastern Illinois University, she worked as the Assistant News Editor of Eastern Illinois University's student publication, the Daily Eastern News. As part of her internship, she also worked as a Layout and Design Editor and Reporter at the Prairie Press in Paris, Illinois. In addition to her extensive experience in the field of journalism, Audra also has a passion for storytelling, which makes her well suited for making a significant contribution to the field of journalism.
